The De La Salle Brothers have a global presence in around 80 countries, operating over 1,150 educational institutions such as schools, colleges, and vocational centres. They serve more than 1,160,000 students and 80,000 individuals through non-formal work, providing quality education and social work services. Their commitment extends beyond the classroom, addressing broader social and economic issues, particularly in underserved and marginalised communities, to empower individuals and communities to reach their full potential.

FOUNDER

​St. John Baptist de La Salle, born on April 30, 1651, in Reims, France, is the Founder of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools that operates Lasallian schools around the world. He is a pioneer in the field of modern education. He initiated innovative approaches to delivering quality education for the masses, especially the poor.

What LTS wants is what the Singapore Lasallian Brothers want 

The establishment of Lasallian Training Services (LTS) guides the mission, emphasizing sustainability and collaboration. LTS members see themselves as custodians of John Baptist de La Salle's legacy, working closely with the Brothers to uphold the shared mission. Together, they aim to carry forward the vision of St. John Baptist de La Salle, addressing emerging challenges and fostering a vibrant, united Lasallian community.

Brother Visitor: Establishment of LTS 

Brother Visitor is pleased to announce the establishment of the Lasallian Trust of Singapore (LTS) as the strategic response to the Institute's directions to localise governance and to involve the local Lasallian partners in sustaining the Lasallian Mission in Singapore.

A New Chapter for Vocations in Singapore

The Singapore De La Salle Brothers organised the first “Becoming Brothers” vacation evening in Singapore. It was an event held to revitalise interest in the De La Salle Brothers’ mission. The event included a dinner, prayer service, and film screening. Participants were able to hear from current Brothers about their experiences. The Brothers hope this event will inspire future generations to join their order.
