MR TAN TEE HOW
Chairman

Mr Tan received his education at St. Anthony's Boys' School, St. Joseph's Institution and Catholic Junior College. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University. He attended the Wharton Business School Advanced Management Programme in 2002. He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in 1989.

Mr Tan currently serves on various Boards in both the private and public sectors. He is Chairman of the Gambling Regulatory Authority, National Healthcare Group, Nomura Singapore Ltd and CapitaLand China Trust Manager Ltd. He was previously a career public official and had held various senior appointments, including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of National Development and of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Principal Private Secretary to the then-Prime Minister, Mr Goh Chok Tong, Founding CEO of the National Healthcare Group and Commissioner of Inland Revenue of Singapore (IRAS) and concurrently CEO of IRAS. Mr Tan is also active in the not-for-profit sector and, among other appointments, was President of the Singapore Scout Association, founding Chairman of the Catholic Preschool Education (S) Ltd, founding Deputy Chairman of SJI International and Deputy Chairman of SJI.

MR ROY QUEK
Deputy Chairman

Mr Quek received his education at St. Anthony's Boys School, St. Joseph's Institution and Hwa Chong Junior College (now Hwa Chong Institution). He holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree from the London School of Economics and a Master of Public Administration Degree from Peking University. 

Mr Quek now devotes his time to philanthropic endeavours and private investments. In his 21 years of public service, he held various senior appointments in the Ministries of Home Affairs, Health, Defence, Education, Community Development, Youth & Sports and the Prime Minister’s Office. In the private sector, he is Chairman of Ascensus Health Group and founding director of an investment services group. Aside from the LTS, Mr Quek's involvement in the charity sector includes being chairman of SJI International and a board member of the Kidney Dialysis Foundation, venture philanthropy Leap 201 and SingHealth-Changi Health Fund.

MR KENNY REBEIRA
Deputy Chairman

Mr Rebeira received his education at St. Stephen’s School, St. Patrick's School and Catholic Junior College. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Singapore.

 

Mr Rebeira is an independent consultant at Novocure, a global oncology company and an advisor to SMRT. He is the Chairman of the Board of Management for the Christian Brothers Schools in Singapore and a Commissioner on the Archdiocesan Commission for Catholic Education. He is also a council member of the Singapore Cancer Society. He had spent his entire career of about 38 years in the Ministry of Defence, where he was a Senior Director.

MR ESMOND CHOO
Treasurer

Mr Choo received his education at St. Michael’s School (now SJI Junior) and St. Joseph’s Institution. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

 

He is a Chartered Accountant with the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mr Choo is a Senior Advisor to UOB Kay Hian, where he retired as Senior Executive Director. Prior to UOB Kay Hian, where he spent more than 20 years, he was an Executive Director at RHB Cathay Securities and General Manager and Director at Sedgwick. He sits on the following Boards as a Non-Executive Director, including SPH Foundation, Singapore Eye Research Centre, ECterra Agriculture, Sustainable Finance Institute Asia, etc. He was a Governor on the St. Joseph’s Institution International Board. He is a Governor of the St. Joseph’s InstitutionInternational Preschool.

DR KOH THIAM SENG
Secretary

Dr Koh received his education at St. Michael’s School (now SJI Junior), St. Joseph’s Institution and Catholic Junior College. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Singapore, a Diploma in Education from the Singapore Institute of Education, a Master of Science degree from Massey University, New Zealand and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Monash University, Australia.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of The HEAD Foundation. He was an Executive Vice President at Sing-Ed Corporation for about 6 years. He was an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Education (NIE) for over 28 years, where he held various leadership positions, including Deputy Director of NIE, Associate Dean for Research Administration and Support and Founding Associate Dean for Academic Computing. While remaining as an NIE faculty, he held senior leadership positions at the Singapore Ministry of Education, where he was the Director of Educational Technology and Deputy Director of Higher Education. After his MOE posting, he served as Principal of St. Joseph’s Institution. He went on to be CEO at St. Joseph’s Institution International. He is currently the Chairman of the Archdiocesan Commission for Catholic Education.

BROTHER NICHOLAS SEET, FSC
Trustee

Br Nicholas received his education at received his education at St Michael's School, St. Joseph’s Institution and Catholic Junior College. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the National University of Singapore, a Masters in Special Needs Education from the University of Sydney and a degree in theology from Jnana Deepa Vidyapeeth in India.

Br Nicholas has taught at St Patrick's School till his retirement and assists the Brothers in the Lasallian mission in Singapore. He is currently the Chair of the Community Directors Association Singapore.

BROTHER LAWRENCE HUMPHREY, FSC
Trustee

Br Larry received his education in Catholic primary and secondary schools in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky in the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Humanities degree from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee, a Master of School Leadership from the University of San Francisco, and an Advanced Graduate Diploma in educational leadership and policy studies from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.

Br Larry is from the Midwest District of the De La Salle Christian Brothers, where he served as a teacher and administrator in schools of the district. Prior to coming to Singapore, he served as Vice President for Mission at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Br Larry serves as the congregational representative of the Brothers on the Archdiocesan Commission of Catholic Education and is a member of the District Council of the Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD). He is currently Brother President at St. Joseph’s Institution International School.

Trustee

Br Kelvin received his education at St. Patrick’s Secondary. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance degree from the University of London, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Psychology from the University of Sydney, a Diploma in Education from the Singapore Institute of Education, a Master of Science degree in Professional Counselling from Swinburne University of Technology Australia and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Theology from De La Salle University, the Philippines. 

Br Kelvin currently teaches elementary students at St. Joseph’s Institution International. Previously, he served as a teacher at St. Anthony’s Primary School, St. Joseph’s Institution, and La Salle Green Hills in the Philippines.

MR DEREK LOH EU TSE
Trustee

Mr Loh received his education at St. Michael’s School (now SJI Junior), St. Joseph’s Institution and Raffles Junior College. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Law and a Master of Arts in Law degree from the University of Cambridge.

 

He is a Partner at TSMP Law Corporation and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He is also a Non-Resident High Commissioner for Bangladesh at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is also a trustee of the St Joseph’s Institution Foundation Singapore and a Governor on the St. Joseph’s Institution International Board. He was a Governor on St. Joseph’s Institution Board. He serves as an independent Director on several Boards, including Adventus Holding, Kingsmen Creatives and Vibrant Group.

Mr Yee received his education at St. Michael’s School (now SJI Junior), St. Joseph’s Institution and Catholic Junior College. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Law and a Master of Arts in Law degree from the University of Cambridge. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Singapore law from the National University of Singapore.

Mr Yee is the Chairman of Duane Morris & Selvam where he serves as the Global Head of Corporate for Duane Morris & Selvam. He currently serves as an Independent Director at F J Benjamin Holdings, Yangzijiang Financial Holding Ltd, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Ltd, Oxpay Financial Limited, Oxley Holdings Limited and TEHO International Inc Ltd. He is also the Honorary Legal Adviser to the Char Yong (Dabu) Hakka Clan Association. He serves as the President of the St. Joseph's Institution Philanthropic Fund (Singapore). He also founded and chaired the Cambridge University Asian Lawyers Association. He was a Governor on the St. Joseph’s Institution Board.

MS PAULINE GOH
Trustee

Ms Goh received her education at St. Joseph’s Convent and Catholic Junior College. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management degree from the National University of Singapore.

Ms Goh is the Chairman of South East Asia at CBRE, where she spent almost all her career. She is also a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. She serves as the Chairman of the Catholic Foundation and a Committee member of the Archdiocesan Land & Properties SG. She was a long- serving member of the Board of Management of Catholic Junior College. She also serves as a Director of the Singapore Institute of Directors and a Council Member of the Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She serves on various CBRE Boards and is an independent Director of Ho Bee Land.

MR CHRISTOPHER CHONG FOOK CHOY

Mr Chong received his education at St. Stephen’s School, St. Patrick’s School and Temasek Junior College. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Bristol, UK. 

Mr Chong is a senior partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice groups and Co- Head of the Professional Liability/Healthcare practice and the Insurance practice. He had served as a Committee Member of Assisi Hospice and St. Patrick’s School Management Committee. He also chaired the St. Stephen’s School Management Committee. He was an independent Director of Pacific Healthcare Holdings.

Ms Koh received her education at CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ School and Raffles Junior College. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) degree from King’s College London. 

Ms Koh is Vice President at IHH Healthcare. Prior to her appointment at IHH Healthcare, she held senior appointments at healthcare companies, including the CEO of Gleneagles Hospital and the Regional General Manager and Managing Director at Abbott Laboratories. She serves on the Board of the Archdiocesan Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants & Itinerant People and is a Board member of St. Joseph’s Institution International Preschool. She is the Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Cancer Society and a District Councillor for Southwest CDC.

MR LAWRENCE CHAN
Trustee

Mr Chan received his education at St. Michael’s School (now SJI Junior), St. Joseph’s Institution and Catholic Junior College. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE).

 

Mr Chan is the Group Chief Executive Officer of NETS. Prior to his appointment at NETS, he held various senior positions, including Senior Vice President at American Express and Vice President at VISA and PayPal. In addition to holding directorships at NETS- related subsidiaries, he is also a Director on the Catholic Foundation Board and the Treasurer for the Archdiocesan Land Properties Singapore (ALPS) Council. He is serving as the Chairman of the St. Joseph’s Institution Board of Governors.

MR KYLE GABRIEL PETERS
Trustee

Mr Peters received his education at Catholic High School, St. Patrick’s School and Singapore Polytechnic. He holds a Diploma in Architecture from Singapore Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Liverpool.

Mr Peters is a Partner at Braddell Brothers LLP and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He serves as a member of the St. Patrick’s School Council, the Christian Brothers Schools’ Board of Management, and various Standing Committees of the Law Society of Singapore. He also served as a member of the Education Sub-Committee of the Eurasian Association.

MR TIMOTHY GOH HENG LIANG

Mr Goh received his education at St. Anthony's Boys School, St. Joseph's Institution and Catholic Junior College. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore and a Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education.

 

Mr Goh is the Principal of St. Stephen’s School. Prior to his appointment at St. 

Stephen’s School, he was the Principal of St. Joseph’s Institution Junior and Vice-Principal at St. Anthony’s Primary School.
