17th January 2025 - The Lasallian Schools in Singapore marked the beginning of the academic year with their Annual Commencement Ceremony at Novena Church today. The event, held at 2:15 pm, saw the participation of graduating Catholic students, who gathered to pray for the year ahead and to dedicate their efforts to God. With the theme "Fan into Flames, the gift of God which is in you", inspired by St. Paul’s Second Letter to Timothy, the ceremony aimed to provide a spiritually enriching experience for students. The main celebrant, Fr Gerard Louis CSsR, led the mass, joined by other chaplains and partnering priests.

This significant event is part of the Catechism programme for the year and underscores the importance of faith in the lives of Lasallian students. The Lasallian community looks forward to the academic year with renewed hope and dedication, inspired by the values of faith, service, and community.
