The Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD) is a vibrant community of about 150 De La Salle Brothers and over 13,000 Lasallian partners and associates. Established in 2011, LEAD brought together the Lasallian Districts and Sectors in East and Southeast Asia under a single umbrella to strengthen unity, collaboration, and mission effectiveness in the region. LEAD oversees more than 70 educational institutions across Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Each LEAD country retains its unique cultural and historical heritage while benefiting from shared resources, formation programs, and leadership development across LEAD. LEAD is also part of a global network of Catholic universities, schools, and ministries committed to providing high-quality Catholic education, especially to the poor and marginalised.
