DR TONY TAN KENG YAM
Dr Tan received his Lasallian education at St. Patrick’s School and St. Joseph’s Institution. He pursued his university education on the Singapore State Scholarship (now President’s Scholarship) at the University of Singapore, graduating with a first-class honours degree in Physics. He furthered his studies with a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a doctorate in Applied Mathematics from the University of Adelaide.
Dr Tan's illustrious career spanned both the public and private sectors. He entered the banking sector in 1969, joining the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC) and rising to the position of General Manager of the Investment Division. In 1979, he transitioned into politics, serving as a minister in the cabinet and holding various portfolios, including education, finance, health, trade and industry. After leaving the Singapore Government at the end of 1991, he became the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OCBC. In 1995, he responded to the Singapore Government’s call to serve the second time as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence before retiring from politics in 2005. From 2005 to 2011, he held the position of Executive Director and Deputy Chairman of the Government Investment Corporation (GIC), Chairman of the National Research Foundation, Chairman of the Singapore Press Holdings and Deputy Chairman of the National Research Innovation and Enterprise Council. He was also Singapore's seventh president from 2011 to 2017.
Dr Tan is widely recognised for leading various innovative reforms during his term of office in the Singapore Government. For example, in education, he introduced reforms that modernised Singapore's educational system, including the establishment of independent schools and the founding of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). His vision had left a lasting impact on Singapore’s education. He played a pivotal role in steering Singapore through its first recession in 1985 by implementing economic stimulus measures such as tax cuts and wage freezes. He advanced Singapore's position as a global hub for scientific research and innovation, attracting international investments and fostering a robust research ecosystem.

MR TEO CHEE HEAN
Mr Teo received his Lasallian education at St. Michael’s School (now SJI Junior) and St. Joseph’s Institution.​​
Mr Teo is currently Singapore's Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, overseeing several key national functions, including the Smart Nation and Digital Government Group, the National Security Coordination Secretariat, the National Population and Talent Division and the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Climate Change.
Mr Teo is also a board member of GIC. He served as Deputy Prime Minister from 2009 to 2019 and held ministerial positions in Home Affairs, Defence, Education, and the Environment, and was the Minister-in-Charge of the Civil Service and Chairman of the National Research Foundation. He had also served as the President of the Singapore National Olympic Council. Before entering politics, he was the Chief of Navy, attaining the rank of Rear Admiral.
Mr Teo pursued his university education on the President’s and Singapore Armed Forces Scholarships at the University of Manchester, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Electrical Engineering and Management Science. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Science (Distinction) in Computing Science from Imperial College and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.

MR LIM CHEE ONN
Mr Lim received his Lasallian education at St. Anthony’s Boys School and St. Joseph’s Institution. He pursued his university education on the Colombo Plan Scholarship at Glasgow University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Naval Architecture. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard University. He was also conferred the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Engineering by Glasgow University.
Mr Lim’s distinguished contributions to Singapore span both the public and private sectors. He started his career in the Singapore Civil Service and was elected Member of Parliament from 1977 to 1992. He served as Secretary-General NTUC from 1979 to 1983 and concurrently Minister without Portfolio, Prime Minister’s Office from 1980 to 1983. He was Keppel Corporation Limited’s Executive Chairman from 2000 to 2008. He was also Chairman of Singbridge International Singapore and Senior Advisor to the Ascendas-Singbridge Group. Currently, he is the Chancellor of the Singapore Management University, Chairman of the Singapore Suzhou Township Development Pte Ltd, and a Member of the Council of Presidential Advisers.
Mr Lim has been widely recognised for his work in leading the restructuring of trade unions along industry lines, which allowed unions to identify better and support workers' specific needs and attract more members to benefit from the services that the unions provided. He was also recognised for playing a pivotal role in investing in, developing, and managing overseas integrated cities, providing sustainable urban solutions adapted from Singapore's successful development experience.

MR MAH BOW TAN
Mr Mah received his Lasallian education at St. Michael’s School (now SJI Junior) and St. Joseph’s Institution. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of New South Wales under the President's Scholarship and Colombo Plan Scholarship. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Engineering degree in Operations Research at the University of New South Wales in 1973. He was conferred an honorary doctorate from the university in 2001.
Mr Mah's illustrious career spans both the public and private sectors. He was involved in the reorganisation of the bus services to form Singapore Bus Services in the 70s, as well as the restructuring of the newspapers to form Singapore Press Holdings in the 80s. He entered politics in 1984 and held various ministerial positions, including Communications, Environment, and National Development. He served as the Leader of the House between 2007 and 2011. After retiring from politics, he held various positions in educational and business institutions. He is currently the Distinguished Advisor to the Centre for Liveable Cities Singapore, Chairman of Global Cities Consult Pte Ltd, and an Adjunct Professor at Nanyang Technological University’s Nanyang Centre for Public Administration.
He is widely recognised for his extensive contributions to Singapore's public sector. For example, as Minister for National Development, he led Singapore’s physical development through sustainable land use planning and urban development. He spearheaded the conceptualisation and implementation of Singapore’s new downtown at Marina Bay, which has become a key economic and social hub. He also contributed to the labour movement as Chairman of the Singapore Labour Foundation, Chairman of NTUC Comfort and Chairman of the Singapore Institute of Labour Studies. He was awarded the Medal of Honour by the National Trades Union Congress in 1993.

MR GEORGE YEO YONG BOON
Mr Yeo received his Lasallian education at St. Stephen's School, St. Patrick's School, and St. Joseph's Institution. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Double First) degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge under the President's Scholarship and Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship. He subsequently completed a Master of Business Administration degree with High Distinction (Baker’s Scholar) from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Yeo's illustrious career spans both the public and private sectors. He served in the Singapore Army and later the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) between 1976 and 1988 and attained the rank of Brigadier-General. He then entered politics in 1988 and held various ministerial positions, including Minister for Information and the Arts, Minister for Health, Minister for Trade & Industry and Minister for Foreign Affairs. After retiring from politics, he joined the Kerry Group in Hong Kong from 2012 to 2021 and served as Chairman and Executive Director of Kerry Logistics Network from 2012 to 2019. He is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.

While in Government, Mr Yeo played a crucial role in strengthening Singapore's diplomatic relations and enhancing its global standing. He was also instrumental in promoting Singapore as a global business hub and attracting foreign investments. He led the improvement of healthcare services and promoted the arts, culture and heritage in Singapore. His leadership and vision have been pivotal in shaping Singapore's policies and initiatives, contributing to the nation's progress and development. Today, he is widely recognised as a global thought leader who contributes to international dialogue on economic, social and geopolitical issues. He is a much sought-after speaker at various international forums.

MR EDWIN TONG CHUN FAI
Mr Tong received his Lasallian education at St. Joseph's Institution. He pursued a Bachelor of Law degree at the National University of Singapore, graduating with honours. Mr Tong has a distinguished career in both the public and private sectors. Currently, he serves as Singapore's Minister for Culture, Community, and Youth and the Second Minister for Law. He is also the Deputy Chairman of the People’s Association. Prior to his political career, he was a prominent lawyer and Senior Counsel at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in complex litigation and arbitration.
As a minister, he has championed arts and culture, sports, youth development, and legal reforms, leaving a significant mark on Singapore's legal landscape and its social and cultural policies. He has strengthened the Government's ties with Chinese community organisations and deepened its understanding of the Chinese community. He also oversees various aspects of law reform, including intellectual property, corporate restructuring and insolvency, and legal aid. When he was at the Ministry of Health, he was instrumental in implementing public health initiatives, such as tobacco-control legislation, regulations to reduce sugar intake, and measures to enhance the transparency, accountability and certainty of the disciplinary processes for registered medical practitioners, upholding standards of practice and public confidence in the medical profession.

MR PHILP YEO LIAT KOK
Mr Yeo received his Lasallian education at St. Joseph's Institution. He graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Industrial Engineering) from the University of Toronto under a Colombo Plan scholarship. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Science (Systems Engineering) from the University of Singapore. He also obtained a Master's in Business Administration from Harvard University under the Fulbright scholarship. He was conferred honorary PhDs from the University of Toronto, Karolinska Institute in Sweden, National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Monash University and Imperial College London for his work in economic development in Singapore and Asia.
Mr Yeo's illustrious career spans both the public and private sectors. He served in the Singapore Administrative Service from 1970 to 1999. He was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence. As EDB Chairman, he redirected EDB's focus from the traditional economic fields to new areas of business. He created Jurong Island for the energy and chemical industry by reclaiming seven islands; started MNC-sponsored EDB scholarships as an ongoing means to replace EDB officers; corralled the best brains of the country into A*star (Agency for Science, Technology and Research) and spearheaded biomedical research by attracting international pharmaceuticals to do their R & D in Singapore. He is currently the Chairman of Economic Development Innovations Singapore, Advanced MedTech Holdings and Accuron Technologies. He was widely recognised for his transformative contributions to Singapore's civil service, particularly in economic development and technology innovation.
