PHILOSOPHY AND OBJECTIVES

Our Lasallian programmes and activities are designed to foster education, service, and fellowship through an integrated approach. Each programme emphasises learning that connects formation, religious education, and Lasallian values, encouraging participants to apply their knowledge through service. This application strengthens their understanding of mission and association, guiding them to live out their vocations with a deep sense of purpose.

Programmes and activities are structured to nurture fellowshipand build relationships within the Lasallian community. This sense of community is a core aspect of the Lasallian tradition, where mutual support and association play a pivotal role. The Lasallian journey is lifelong, evolving through various stages of formation, prompting continuous growth and transformation that aligns learning with service and fellowship, ultimately fostering positive change within individuals and the community.

Lasallian formation aims to help all Lasallians to strengthen their heart, mind and soul, helping them to fulfil their unique God-given purpose in the development of their vocation and in serving the Lasallian mission. The formation programmes focus on building a strong relationship with God, learning about the mission of Catholic education and the role of Lasallians in Catholic schools and education, and developing the knowledge and skills needed to serve those who are in need, especially the poor and the marginalised. The programmes also build communities that care for others, based on Lasallian values and guided by Catholic teachings.

Our Lasallian programmes and activities are designed to align with the values of Lasallian spirituality and Catholic education by catering to the needs of specific groups, such as school leaders, teachers, students, and volunteers, based on their roles and vocations. These programmes and activities embrace diversity and collaboration, respecting the personal and cultural contexts of each participant. They provide key formative experiences at various stages, such as staff induction, leadership training, and transition points in education. They emphasise the importance of "walking with others on the journey," fostering community, shared wisdom, and association among Lasallians.
